What can you expect from your medical aesthetic clinic visit?
Each med spa aesthetic treatment is unique, and so are the processes that go into them. To give you an idea, we’ve listed below some of our popular medical spa services and what you can expect during your visit to Eau Claire Body Care:
1. Laser hair removal
If you’re tired of waxing, shaving, or plucking, our laser hair removal treatment is the best solution for you. It works by neutralizing the unwanted hair follicles as the laser beams get absorbed by the hair’s melanin. As it gets converted to heat, it damages the hair follicle, so it will no longer grow any strands.
What to expect:
Before
Take note that prep work is crucial for laser hair removal! Before your session, you need to avoid sun exposure, waxing, and certain medications at least 1 to 2 weeks before your appointment.
Don’t worry because we will conduct a one-on-one consultation before your treatment to advise you about the necessary preparations based on your skin type.
During
During your treatment, make sure that you arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. After that, we will ask you to wear eye protection if the treatment area is around the face. Once we’ve cleansed your skin, we will start the treatment with our Candela GentleMax Pro handheld device. You’ll feel a snapping sensation on your skin as the laser targets the unwanted hair.
After
Right after the laser hair removal session in our cosmetic clinic, your treated skin will feel reddish, swollen, and tender. These are all normal effects of the treatment, which will subside in a few days. It’s very important to follow the aftercare instructions of our laser specialist to make sure you’ll achieve smooth skin without irritations.
2. Botox injections
Our beauty aesthetic clinic only uses FDA-approved Botox injections to ensure safe and effective results. We always personalized each treatment based on the treatment area, your skin condition, and your desired results. Overall, Botox is one of our most popular treatments at Eau Claire Body Care.
What to expect:
Before
Before your Botox injections at our skin aesthetic center, you will first undergo an in-depth consultation. Our aesthetician will map out the injection areas on paper so you’ll know where the needle goes and why. As with our other treatments, we will advise you about the necessary preparations before your Botox session.
During
Once you arrive at our premium aesthetic clinic, we will prep your skin and apply a topical numbing cream. After that, we will start the injection process, with the entire session lasting about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
After
After the treatment, the injection sites will be slightly swollen and tender. Botox takes 3 to 7 days to take full effect. It can last up to 6 months before you need touch-ups to maintain the results.
Aside from that, you need to avoid strenuous activities that could cause the Botox to migrate or spread on other areas. Also, keep the injection sites clean and avoid wearing makeup until the swelling has fully subsided.
3. Dermal fillers
If you’re searching for an ‘aesthetic clinic near me’ offering quality fillers, Eau Claire Body Care might be the one you’re looking for. Our dermal fillers are an effective solution for static wrinkles or fine lines that remain visible even when you’re not making facial expressions. It’s also a popular choice for our clients who want to restore lost volume on their cheeks and chin.
What to expect:
Before
Our aesthetics clinic has prep work for fillers similar to Botox. First, you’ll undergo a consultation, during which we will assess your skin condition and the treatment area. You may also need to skip blood-thinning medications to reduce the risk of bruising, but we suggest consulting your physician first.
During
During your appointment, we will clean the injection site and apply a topical anesthetic to minimize your discomfort. After that, we will start injecting the filler into specific areas around your face. Depending on the size of the treatment area, the entire session may take 15 to 60 minutes.
After
After the filler treatment, your face will feel swollen and tender. As with the other treatments, these are normal side effects that will wear away on their own in a few days. Don’t worry, as we also conduct follow-up checks at our luxury aesthetic clinic to make sure that your fillers have settled well.
4. Facials
Our facial aesthetics clinic offers a variety of facial treatments to address different problems. In this case, the preparation and aftercare will also differ, but most of them are non-invasive and don’t require any rigorous care. Here’s a quick look at some of our popular facials.
What to expect:
Before
During
For both the IPL Photofacial and Hollywood Laser Peel, you’ll have to wear eye protection since we’re going to use laser equipment. Meanwhile, our HydraFacial session will not require any protective gear and as comfortable as any other refreshing facials.
After
5. Keravive hair restoration
Our advanced aesthetic clinic also offers the tried-and-tested Keravive hair restoration treatment. This procedure is an effective regimen for those who want to strengthen, thicken, and bouncier their hair. It’s also popular with our clients who are looking for non-invasive ways to reduce dandruff and treat their sensitive scalps.
What to expect:
Before
Before your hair restoration treatment, we must assess whether you are a good candidate for the procedure. Basically, if you have underlying skin conditions or active infections on your scalp, we suggest going to an aesthetic dermatology clinic to have them treated.
During
During the treatment, our specialist will cleanse your scalp using the HydraFacial Vortex technology. This will remove all dead skin cells and impurities before we infuse your scalp with the proprietary Keravive Peptide serum. These are packed with growth factors and proteins that will enhance your hair growth.
After
After the Keravive hair restoration treatment, your scalp won’t experience swelling or redness. However, you must continue a 90-day regimen by massaging a peptide complex spray we will give you after your appointment. After that, you can schedule a follow-up visit to check your scalp’s progress.
6. Laser tattoo removal
Do you have an unwanted tattoo you want to erase? How about faded permanent makeup? Our laser tattoo removal treatment can erase all these. Unlike other techniques, our laser treatment works for all spectrums of colors, including hard-to-remove hues such as yellow, light blue, and pink.
What to expect:
Before
Similar to our laser hair removal treatment, we will first assess your skin and tattoo. From there, our laser technician will advise you about the necessary prep work, including pausing certain medications as permitted by your physician. We will also inform you about the ideal number of sessions needed to fully erase your tattoo, which depends on its size and color.
During
During the treatment, we will use our state-of-the-art laser technology to zap away the color pigments of your tattoo. We will also provide you with a topical numbing cream to minimize the discomfort you may experience during the procedure. Overall, each session may last for about 30 to 60 minutes, longer if you have a much bigger tattoo to erase.
After
You’ll notice swelling, redness, and blistering on the tattoo area right after the treatment. This will heal naturally in the following days, but make sure you don’t pick on the scabs or peeling skin to avoid possible infections. Also, you’ll need to come back for follow-up sessions to erase your tattoo fully, which we usually schedule every 4 to 8 weeks.

7. IV therapy
Our IV therapy is available in-office or mobile, whichever you prefer. Many of our clients book their IV drips to shake off hangovers, jet lag, exhaustion, sickness, or even just to keep their hydration in check. We always personalize each drip based on your target results using medical-grade and safe ingredients.
What to expect:
Before
We don’t really have any strict requirements for IV therapy treatments. We just encourage our clients to book as far ahead as possible, especially for our mobile service, to ensure the availability of their preferred schedule. Aside from that, we will also conduct a quick consultation to learn more about your health goals so we can suggest and prepare the right IV drip for you.
During
Most of our clients prefer our mobile or concierge service, where we go to their location for the treatment. This is because many IV therapy options can take hours to finish, and they prefer to be in the comfort of their home, office, or hotel room. Nevertheless, you’re still welcome to visit our holistic aesthetic clinic for your IV drop.
Overall, we use hospital-grade supplies for your IV therapy. Once we’ve injected the intravenous line into your arm, you can sit back and relax as you receive your nutrient-packed fluids.
After
After your IV therapy treatment, you may experience mild bruising on the injection area. This is normal and should go away on its own in a few days. Other than that, you can continue with your usual activities or schedule another session in the future.
8. Emsculpt
If you’re looking to reduce stubborn fats or tone your muscles, our Emsculpt treatment would be a great choice. Emsculpt is an FDA-approved treatment that’s safe for almost all body and skin types. It works by using HIFEM and RF energies to warm up your muscles, which will trigger fat burns. Overall, it’s effective as a complementary solution to your weight loss plan.
What to expect:
Before
Before we start your treatment, our specialist will discuss your desired results and medical history. We will also advise you to avoid rigorous physical activities or heavy meals a few hours before your appointment. Lastly, make sure you wear loose clothing that will make it easier for us to access the treatment area.
During
So, how does Emsculpt work? During the treatment, we will place the device right on the treatment area, and you’ll start to feel muscle contractions. Our clients describe the sensation as similar to having an extreme workout. On average, it will take about 30 minutes to treat each area.
After
You’ll feel slightly sore on the treated area as if you’ve just finished a workout routine. Nevertheless, you can resume your usual activities, but make sure you stay hydrated and get ample rest. Overall, we recommend getting 8 sessions scheduled a week apart to see the best results.
